Mayor Janet Jones

Janet moved to Bogart in 1969, married and moved away for a while, then returned to Bogart in 2003 so that she could be close to her mother, Ms. Irma Guest. She is a proud mother of three and grandmother of four.

Ms. Jones is a member of numerous clubs and ladies auxiliaries and is also a member of the Bogart United Methodist Church, where she serves on the Board of Trustees and is an active choir member.

Brenda, her husband of 36 years and their son, Tony, moved to Bogart in 2000.

Jenny and her family moved to Bogart in 2018. Previously an RN at St. Mary’s, she is now a full-time boss mom of four children, ages 6 and under. She has dreamed of living in the ideal small town of cool, artsy Athens but has discovered Bogart is where home meets heart.

John and his wife have lived in Bogart since 2006. They have two children and attend Athens Church. John works for the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia providing instructional design.
